Arizona Biltmore: A Waldorf Astoria Resort

This was a black and white architectural design promotional poster project illustrating the Arizona Biltmore located in Phoenix. Truly, there seemed to be too many themes to capture all in one poster, but my eventual aim for this was to convey a broad impression that would spark a sense of intrigue and curiosity in the viewer, as opposed to highlighting any one specific aspect. The patterns clearly and intentionally bear the influence of Frank Lloyd Wright.
Below is a mind map of various design concepts when planning out the poster. Early in the process, my initial plan was to highlight a specific theme or aspect, accompanied by a short slogan; however, as I broadened the scope, the necessity for a slogan diminished. I felt the piece contained enough to speak for itself.
